SPECIAL INVESTIGATING UNIT (SIU)
 
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is in the process of implementing a new strategy that has resulted in a new operating model and structure. SIU is in search of new performance-driven team members who will perform functions related to drive the implementation of the new strategy that will position the SIU as a leading Anti-Corruption Agency in South Africa, underpinned by a performance-driven culture. 
 
Suitably qualified individuals are invited to apply for the following permanent position: 
SENIOR MANAGER: FACILITIES, FLEET AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT X1

Head Office: Pretoria 
 

​Main purpose: To manage the provision of an efficient facilities management service to the organisation (Head Office and Provincial) in accordance with policy, procedure and safety standards. To manage the provision of document management support services, within prescribed document management frameworks, principles, procedures and national legislation. To lead the ongoing development and implementation of improved facilities, fleet, document management and physical security systems and processes. 
 
Minimum qualification and experience: Honours Degree in Administration / Public Administration / Information Management / Facilities Management (NQF 8). 6-8 years’ experience in facilities management 4 years of which should be at a management/supervisory level. 
 
Key performance areas (include but not limited to): Development and Implementation of Facilities Management. Office Space Management. Physical Security Management. Contract and Insurance Management. Document Management. Fleet Management. Internal Financial Controls and Audit Findings Mitigation Actions. Operational Planning and Implementation. Staff Management. 


Technical skills: Leadership. Communication. Contract Management. Interpersonal. Risk Management. Report writing. Management. Planning and organisation, Relationship management. Time management. Team player. Attention to detail. Accuracy. Deadline driven. Customer focused. Work under pressure. Results oriented. Integrity and Ethical. 
 
Required knowledge (includes but not limited to): Sound knowledge of applicable legislation (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act, Plumbing and Electrical Industry Standards, National Archives Act, etc.). Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes. Building & Equipment Maintenance Technical Knowledge. Knowledge of Project Management Principles. Sound knowledge of Document Management principles and best practice.
