Generic Requirements: 
 Applicants must be fluent in at least 2 official languages, of which one must be English;

Core Functions: 
 The Section Head: Cybercrime Investigation is directly accountable to the Component Head: PCSI; 
 Ensure the successful investigation of serious cyber related crime support case files; 
 Ensure and manage of analysis of cybercrime information pertaining to Digital Forensic Investigation, social media and open source investigation, online investigation, and unauthorised access and intrusion investigation; 
 Ensure compliance to the prescripts of the Cybercrimes Act of 2020; 
 Comply with DPCI and PCSI policies and standards relating to the environment (including international agreements); 
 Establish and maintain working relationship with internal and external role players; 
 Represent the Component Head: PCSI at various forums as directed; 
 Ensure compliance with information security standards as prescribed by the Minimum Information Security Standards and relevant legislation; 
 Manage and utilise all resources (human, physical and financial) allocated to the immediate post environment in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.

 Conduct performance reviews to ensure performance standards are accomplished on provincial and national level; 
 Oversee and monitor all the investigative functions within the Section; 
 Ensuring that crime information pertaining to asset forfeiture investigations is analysed and utilised; 
 Determine the operational skills requirements and training development for the Section;
