The Public Investment Corporation (PIC) invests funds on behalf of public sector entities including the Government Employees Pension Fund. The organisation is the largest investment manager in the country and the continent. Applications are invited from dynamic individuals for the following challenging position:
Fund Manager (Indirect Investments)
Grade: E1-E3
(Ref: FNM001)
Salary: All-inclusive remuneration package negotiable
Centre: PIC Properties
Requirements:
Honours degree in Property Studies or equivalent science degree
Minimum 5-6 years’ experience within the Property Asset Management Industry
Knowledge of Property Management, Property Law, Accounting and Property Market
Duties:
Maximise the value of the portfolio in order to meet and exceed benchmark returns on portfolio
Ensure sustainable net income and capital growth
Management of risk measures (lease expiry profile, arrears, vacancies, geographic and sectorial splits)
Manage portfolio income budget
Manage risk to ensure stability of cash flow
Enhance the performance of all investment properties within the portfolio
Ensure effective financial performance reporting to internal governance structures
Consolidate, analyse and report on Key Performance Data regarding the portfolio
Accurately report on various matters
Make investments decisions
Management of Budgets
Management and monitoring of performance of staff in line with KPI’s
Competencies and skills:
Excellent communication skills
Negotiation Skills
Organisational Leadership skills
Time management
Performance and Result oriented
Ability to deal with pressure/stress
Cost-consciousness (budgeting)
Stay abreast of latest property trends
Stay abreast of the latest property law
