​DRIVER OPERATOR TLB X2. (COLLINS CHABANEX1) (MUSINA X1)
Post Level: 10 
• Salary Scale: R278 755 51
 
Requirements: • Basic literacy. • Driver’s licence code EB and EC, plus a PDP • Certificate Tractor Loader Backhoe operation • Communication Skill • 1-2 years relevant experience.
 
Key Performance Areas: • Conduct pre-inspection of vehicle at start of daily shift • Conduct all TLB related tasks as prescribed by the supervisor on site • Complete the logbook and submit to the immediate supervisor for sign off. • Inform the supervisor when the vehicle is due for service at the appropriate kilometre measure intervals in accordance with the manufacturer requirements • Monitor oil levels, tire pressure, water levels and other technical requirements of the vehicle in accordance with vehicle maintenance requirements • Report any technical/mechanical issues experienced with the vehicle to the supervisor so that the issues can be addressed appropriately • Inform the supervisor that the vehicle license is due for renewal and follow up to ensure that the license has been renewed • Maintain all the necessary records.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
DRIVER OPERATOR CRANE TRUCK X2 (MAKHADO)
Post Level: 10 
• Salary Scale: R278 755 51
 
Requirements: • Basic literacy. • Driver’s licence code EB and EC, plus a PDP • Certificate in Crane truck operation • Communication Skill • 1-2 years relevant experience. 
 
Key Performance Areas: • Conduct pre-inspection of vehicle at start of daily shift • Complete the logbook and submit to the immediate supervisor for sign off. • Drive artisans to the appropriate destination where the borehole needs to be fixed or serviced. • Conduct machine safety checks each day • Set up crane and operate it • Move material around site according to a plan or schedule • Monitor crane stability and load weights • Inform the supervisor when the vehicle is due for servicing at the appropriate kilometer measure intervals in accordance with the manufacturer requirements • Monitor oil levels, tire pressure, water levels and other technical requirements of the vehicle in accordance with vehicle maintenance requirements • Report any technical/mechanical issues experienced with the vehicle to the supervisor so that the issues can be addressed appropriately.
 
 
 
 
 
 
PROCESS CONTROLLERS (WASTEWATER OPERATIONS) X8 (MAKHADO X4) (MUSINA X4)
Post Level: 12 
• Salary Scale: R218 218 87
 
Requirements: • Grade 12 or relevant Post Matric Qualification preferably NTC 3 in Water Treatment or Wastewater Treatment. • Trade related qualification: Operators certificate/ Wastewater Treatment practice (N3) • Code EB Driver’s License. • 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience required. 
 
Key Performance Areas: • Purify raw water through sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection • Conduct laboratory test on water samples to ensure that they meet regulatory standards for drinking water quality • Monitor water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity, and chlorine levels to ensure that water is safe for consumption • Maintain records of water treatment activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (pressures, tank levels, flow rates and water quality) • Operate valves to open/close way for incoming raw water from the dam or river • Monitor if pumps, filters, and chemical treatment systems are operating effectively and efficiently, and that they are properly calibrated to ensure the quality of the water being treated • Perform regular basic maintenance on chemical feed systems • Report emergency situations such as equipment failures and water quality issues tot the supervisor • Operate valves to open/close way for purified water from the plant to the reservoirs.
