RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Master’s degree in a health science field and a Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) degree;
• Experience in BCMP programme in a clinical environment;
• At least one DHET accredited publication
• Proof of registration as a clinical associate with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Adjust tuition and examination fees to those of the year of re-registration and examination to refund and give accurate account balances to students;
- Process adjustments on accounts of finalists three months before graduation dates to have accurate accounts mailed with graduation invitation letters;
- Forward completed forms to the Student Service Centre (SSC) to schedule students' pay-outs accordingly;
- Refund to Fundi the loans not utilised on fees;
- Check that payment on proof of payments provided with the remark list is on the students' accounts;
- Hand over the accounts of students who have debit balances to Collections after they have discontinued or completed their studies;
- Ensure that the deposits made are on the students' accounts;
- Handle telephone, written, or personal enquiries about all aspects of Distance Education students' accounts, such as when refunds will take place, account balances, statements, and quotations for bursary purposes, and termination timeously and in a friendly and professional manner;
- Respond timeously to emails, acknowledging receipt and giving feedback to students;
- Deliver service within the agreed timelines;
- Interact and liaise with clients in a cordial, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant National 3-year Diploma or equivalent with accounting as a subject OR Grade 12 with a pass in accounting;
- 2 years’ experience with a National Diploma OR 4 years' experience with Grade 12;
- Experience in a financial environment, preferably in student administration.

- A doctoral Degree in International Child Law or closely related field;
- Three (3) years’ relevant Tertiary or vocational teaching experience, or five (5) years post-qualification experience in Child Law, Family Law, Education Law and Law of Persons or related field or proportionate combination of the aforementioned;
- Five (5) accredited or peer-reviewed quality publication outputs of which at least 2 must be sole authored;
- Two (2) conference papers delivered at either national or international conferences.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- Ability to work in a team;
- Ability to work under pressure;

The Senior Prospect Researcher provides strategic insight through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of biographical, financial, and philanthropic business intelligence information to inform donor engagement strategies, optimise prospect management, and contribute to the development of a robust donor pipeline. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making and advancing the institution’s resource mobilisation goals.
The Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and qualify high-potential individual, corporate, and foundation donors who align with the University’s strategic priorities and funding needs.
- Develop comprehensive donor and prospect profiles, including financial capacity, philanthropic history, and affiliations, to support leadership and fundraising initiatives.
- Implement a research-driven strategy to build and maintain a strong donor pipeline, using data analytics, prospect scoring, and market intelligence.
- Ensure donor and prospect data is captured accurately, ethically, and in compliance with POPIA, GDPR, and institutional protocols.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to fundraising teams, faculty, and leadership to support targeted campaigns, stewardship, and donor engagement initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be expected to coordinate and manage the National Tissue Bank and the Postgraduate Advanced Wet Skills Laboratory (WSL)
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the storage and maintaining the human tissue data repository in accordance with the National Health Act Number 61 of 2003 on an electronic data management system (including but not limited to Excel-based and institutional databases) in a legally- and ethically sound manner;
- Ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislation, institutional policies, and ethical guidelines;
- Building and managing the donor relationship with Pretoria-based hospitals;
- Managing the operational processes of the WSL as a potential form of third-stream income for the Faculty of Health Sciences, including supervision and coordination of technical assistants, data processing, and engaging with all relevant internal and external stakeholders;
- Liaise professionally with prospective and registered donors and their families to provide guidance and support on body and tissue donation procedures, consent processes, and related administrative requirements;
- Contributing to research and innovation in anatomical preservation, prosection techniques, and surgical training within the Department of Anatomy.
- Processing donated bodies and creating prosections, per client or departmental specifications for research, teaching, and workshops, and ensuring the correct labelling, cataloguing, and storage of these specimens;
- Keeping abreast of all relevant medico-legal laws pertaining to the usage of tissue and human bodies;
- Generating and dispatching purchase orders and proformas;
- Marketing the National Tissue Bank and WSL to internal and external stakeholders in the relevant medical fields, as well as the whole-body donation programme to potential donors and family members.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A Master's degree in Biological Science with experience in prosection or dissection of human anatomy;
- Four years’ experience in Human Anatomy and handling of human tissue and skeletal remains;
- Experience in the maintenance of laboratories;
- Experience in teaching or tutoring students and providing research support;
- Experience in administrative management;
- Valid driver’s license and a category D Professional Driving Permit (PDrP).
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- Knowledge and experience in the relevant legal and statutory regulations
- Anatomical knowledge
- Knowledge and experience with Dissection Hall or similar environments
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
- PhD (in a health sciences field, with a background in human anatomy)
- Trauma counselling or grief counselling courses
- Management course
- Marketing course
- SATiBA certification
