Requirements:
• Honours degree (Junior Lecturer) /Master degree (Lecturer) in SePedi 
• Two years teaching experience in Sepedi/Sepedi Education 
• Have a teaching qualification 
• University teaching experience will be an added advantage 
• Have interest in pursuing a Master degree (Junior Lecturer) or PhD (Lecturer) in SePedi Language Teaching 
• Be computer literate 
 
Competencies:
• Ability to work under pressure: individually and as a team member 
• Be innovative and self-motivated. 
 
Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to: 
• Facilitate teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (both content and pedagogical knowledge, that is, content and methods subject) 
• Supervise Honours and Masters research projects (Lecturer) 
• Academic administration 
• Participate in Material Development for SePedi modules 
• Contribute towards the Department’s transformational and strategic goals.
