Minimum requirement:
• Masters qualification in Philosophy of Education/Philosophy
• An average of 70% or above in master’s degree;
• Teaching experience at tertiary institutions will be an added advantage;
• Ability to provide research supervision of under-graduate and post-graduate students;
• Sound communication, administrative and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate effective teaching and learning in the field of Philosophy of Education;
• Be able to perform independent research in the field of Philosophy of Education and register for an PhD in this field;
• Undertake responsibility to develop course materials, lectures, tutorials and assessment of modules;
• Supervision and teaching at undergraduate level;
• Involvement in professional activities;
• Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide research supervision of under-graduate and post-graduate students.
