Successful candidates will be employed on by the University while they complete their post-graduate studies (PhD). 
The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School of Health Sciences. 
 
Minimum Requirement:
 An undergraduate degree in Pharmacy; 
 A relevant Master’s degree with a pass mark of 70% or above; 
 Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council; 
 Computer Literacy and 
 South African citizen. 
 
Essential Requirements 
 A Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics and 
 Laboratory based research experience in Drug-Delivery Systems (DDS) at Master’s degree level.




The successful candidate will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years of date of assumption of duty. 
 
A brief statement of motivation regarding the applicant’s aspiration to become an academic and a researcher must accompany the application.
