SPECIAL INVESTIGATING UNIT (SIU)
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is in the process of implementing a new strategy that has resulted in a new operating model and structure. SIU is in search of new performance-driven team members who will perform functions related to drive the implementation of the new strategy that will position the SIU as a leading Anti-Corruption Agency in South Africa, underpinned by a performance-driven culture.
Suitably qualified individuals are invited to apply for the following permanent position:
MANAGER: INTERNAL AUDIT X1

Head Office: Pretoria
Main purpose: To manage the planning, execution and reporting on internal audit engagements to provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes within the organisation.
Minimum qualification and experience: B Degree in Accounting or Internal Auditing or equivalent (NQF 7). Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) membership. 5 years’ experience in auditing, of which 2 years is at a supervisory / management level. Experience in the public sector would be advantageous.
Key performance areas (include but not limited to): Operational Planning and Implementation. Internal Audit Planning. Audit Execution Management. Audit Reporting. Stakeholder Relationship Management. Staff Management.

Required knowledge (includes but not limited to): Sound knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards, techniques and processes, including public sector auditing processes. Sound knowledge of policies, procedures, regulation and legislation applicable to the Public Sector. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of financial principles.
