Reporting to the ICT Projects Manager, the ICT Systems Administrator will be responsible for a wide range of systems administrative tasks which keep SANSA’s hardware, software, servers, and overall ICT systems operating efficiently.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
- A 3-year Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering or a similar qualification
- Minimum of 3 years as an ICT Systems Administrator or similar

Experience and proficiency in:
- Windows Server environments, including virtualised systems (Hyper-V, ESXi)
- Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
- Microsoft operating systems
- Desktop software and server software (installing, configuring and troubleshooting), e.g. Microsoft Office, Access, Outlook
- Hardware technical skills, i.e. use tools and other means to fix/maintain/repair
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Linux+, ITIL Foundation, Azure Administrator, etc., will be advantageous
- A valid driver’s license

ENTERPRISE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Requirements
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will lead the growth in relevancy and financial sustainability of SANSA by identifying and creating business opportunities for SANSA. The focus will be on business development and investment; industry transformation and sustainability; industrial development space flagship programmes; space capability development and space human capital development.
Additional responsibilities will on strategically be planning, market analysis, client and stakeholder management, and the implementation of sector-specific initiatives to enhance SANSA’s market position and achieve business objectives. The role will define commercialisation priorities in alignment with the SANSA vision, strategy and relevant market needs, collecting market and business intelligence to ensure all SANSA programmes and projects are relevant to the user environment, and for transferring SANSA technologies to the market.
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Honour’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics etc.), Space Science and Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MBL, Master’s in Engineering) preferred.
- At least 5-10 years in a Senior Business Development, Marketing or Sales role within the space, engineering and technology innovation industries or related sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, strategic planning, investment and growth strategy development, and project management with a strong scientific and engineering background.
- Proven track record of achieving business growth and development targets.
Key performance areas will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute growth strategic plans to drive SANSA’s business growth and financial sustainability.
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Lead client and stakeholder engagements, including industry partners, government bodies, and investors.
- Identify and pursue new business and sector development opportunities.
- Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and capital projects, conducting feasibility assessments and investment evaluations.
- Foster innovation and technology development through collaborations with research institutions and technology firms.
- Establish partnerships and collaborations to drive industry transformation and investment.
- Manage marketing and public relations to enhance SANSA’s visibility in the space sector.
- Oversee financial management, ensuring effective budgeting, cost efficiency, and revenue generation.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and project management.

Job Requirements
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the management of the Space Science Programme, ensuring it is appropriately positioned on a sustainable basis to deliver strategic programmes for the benefit of the sectors, markets and communities that it serves. The Executive Director is also a Member of the SANSA Executive Team and as such shares a collective responsibility for the strategic oversight of the organisation.

- Strategy Planning, Development and Implementation

- Stakeholder Management
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Masters in Science, engineering, technology, innovation and commerce or a closely related field
- An MBA will be an added advantage.
- At least 10 years in business or technology development, innovation and engineering environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or top management role.
- Innovation Leadership: A proven capacity to lead cutting-edge programmes;
- Strategic Management: Proven track record of the ability to run a national or international business unit efficiently
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experience in national and international presence and advocacy
- Governance: Understanding of compliance, finance and organisational systems
