FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR
(18 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

Location: National Museum, Bloemfontein
The National Museum, Bloemfontein is seeking to appoint the Financial Administrator on an 18 fixed term contract.
NB: Applicants must be residing and based in Bloemfontein, no applicants outside Bloemfontein will be considered. (The National Museum conducts thorough vetting process as per the requirements and criteria of all advertised vacancies).
Purpose of the Position
The main purpose of this post is to provide financial and administration services to accurately manage the grant funds allocated to Art Bank of South Africa. The incumbent will also assist with financial administration support for the sales and marketing of art. This will involve maintaining accurate financial spreadsheets; administering payments; liaising with project teams, document collation, report writing, and minute taking.

- KPA 3 – General Administration
Knowledge and Skills:
Qualification:
- Minimum: National Diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting (NQF Level 6 or higher). Must have Finance or Accounting up to 3rd year level.
- Preference will be given to applicants with Code 8 Drivers License.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 months or more experience in financial administration for a large enterprise.
Knowledge:
- High level of financial literacy to perform financial calculations of Excel spreadsheet. Computer literacy including PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Report writing.
Personal Attitudes:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organised, self-motivated, ability to work well within a team, strong bias towards working with detail and ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously, good problem-solving skills. Strong sense of responsibility.
