The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) is an Agency of The Department of Transport and a Member of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration.
Facilitator: Physical Training
Ref No. RTMC/ TP: FC/PT/ 2020
Salary Package: Negotiable
Purpose: Responsible for facilitating physical training and assessment for the traffic trainees and Law enforcement.
Requirements: • Grade 12 plus five (5) years experience. • Must be a certified professional trainer at an accredited institution. • The successful candidate should be an accredited trainer. • The candidate must further be fit with no criminal record.
The successful candidate must have the following attributes and competencies:
• Able to conduct physical assessment readiness questionnaire. • Be able to instil discipline. • Must design a comprehensive training programme for group sessions as well as individual programmes for special needs.
Duties: • Review policies and procedures relating to physical training. • Facilitate all relevant training as per Standard Operating Procedures • Evaluate learner's fitness levels and health conditions. • Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed. • Monitor progress of learner's fitness levels. • Explain safe and proper use of gym equipment. • Lead both individual and group training sessions. • Research on new exercise techniques and trends. Inform learners about on gym safety and hygiene guidelines. • Advice learners on how to change lifestyle habits as needed. • Conduct assessments and accurately record results of learners in accordance with the policies and procedures. • Perform practical training and assessments as required. • Compiling of lesson plans as required. • Assist in regular review and updating of course content and training materials, ensuring that they remain up-to-date and relevant.
