SENIOR MANAGER: DIRECT INVESTMENTS (REF: SM_DI14) 
Grade: E4 – F1 
Salary: All-inclusive remuneration package negotiable 
Centre: PIC Properties division, Pretoria 
 
Purpose of the role: 
To oversee property portfolios of both direct assets and investment vehicles pertaining to the directly held portfolio. To combine the strategic day-to-day running of the portfolio along with driving the added value initiatives, through development, acquisition and disposal, and reporting to the client
 
Requirements:
  • Honours BCom Finance degree or equivalent qualification (NQF level 8) 
  • Relevant MComm, MBA or MSc in Real Estate would be advantageous 
  • Minimum 10 - 12 years’ experience within the Property Investment Industry in Senior Management with at least 5 years’ experience in managing direct reports 
  • Knowledge of Property Asset Management, Property Management, Property Law, Property Development, Property Acquisition & Disposal, Accounting and performance calculation 
  • Sound, Strong and Ethical Leadership 
  • FAIS RE 05 Certificate or must be obtained within 6 months of employment 
 
Duties:
  • Effective management and oversight of property portfolio of direct assets and related investment vehicles 
  • Ensure achievement of market-related returns on investments and the existing portfolio
  • Growth and Development of the portfolio in line with the requirements of the mandate and strategy 
  • Unlocking value for clients through underlying asset strategies 
  • Manage risk to ensure the stability of cash flows 
  • Initiation of effective internal business processes and procedures for the achievement of better efficiencies 
  • Accurately report to the Board, and relevant committees 
  • Oversight and development of investment strategies at a building and portfolio level 
  • Oversight and implementation of sustainable initiatives to drive efficiencies at a building and portfolio level 
  • Effective stakeholder management of Property Management function to ensure effective management of portfolio assets are performed 
  • Effective oversight and management of the Asset Management and Development Team to ensure that new and refurbished buildings are 
  • Effective management and oversight of Property Budgets 
  • Management and Monitoring of performance of staff in line with KPI’s

IT ASSET AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST 
•*Job Grade: D1 – D3

Purpose of the role: 
  • To manage all IT assets (hardware and software) through their lifecycle to ensure that assets are used effectively and according to organizational policies. 
  • Perform the asset lifecycle from cradle to grave that is to Plan, Request, Procure (initiate and evaluate request for quotations), Receive and register and barcode, Deploy/Allocate/Move, retire and dispose IT Assets, Control inventory, Keep the IT Asset Register up to date, perform periodic IT Asset verification/auditing and IT Asset Reporting including the reporting of stolen IT workstations and finances (invoices, orders and payments). 
 
Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Information Technology (at NQF 6 level) 
  • ITIL certified (V3-V4) Practitioner / Intermediate 
  • 3 - 5 years relevant IT experience 
  • Knowledge of Service Management Tools 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune 
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management Tools 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Software Asset Management and Licensing is an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based processes or other frameworks and standards (e.g., Cobit, ISO 20 000, IT Asset Management). 
 
Duties:
  • Define, implement and maintain IT assets standards, technology specifications, policies and procedures. 
  • Liaise with PIC Assets Management and Supply Chain functions to ensure IT assets are managed according to organisational policies. Manage IT assets register and report on assets status to management. 
  • Manage IT storerooms and asset disposals. 
  • Coordinate IT assets verification processes. 
  • Monitor and record the movement of all IT assets. 
  • Keep records and track all software license keys. 
  • Manage loaner pools of computer assets and computer losses. 
  • Facilitate and manage the configuration identification process, maintain adequate control mechanism over configuration items. 
  • Facilitate the periodical CI data integrity review of the current and historical configuration data 
  • Produce management reports on IT assets and Provide support to the IT teams on asset queries. 
  • Engage with Vendors / Service Providers and or Original Equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of workstations and printers for hardware repairs and procurement of computer hardware and software. 
  • Implement continuous technical improvement initiatives including technology refresh of IT End User equipment. 
  • Facilitate and manage the configuration identification process, maintain adequate control mechanism over configuration items. 
  • Manage the Mobile Devices lifecycle.

PRODUCTIVITY AND NETWORKS LEAD

Purpose of the role: 
To lead the Productivity and Networks technical teams as an expert leading specialist in driving excellence in the configuration and management of the Productivity Cloud Platform (i.e., M365/GSUITE) encompassing Messaging, Unified Communications and Networks. 
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Modern/Cloud Platforms 
  • Azure/M365 Certification desirable 
  • ITIL V3 Certification 
  • COBIT 5 Certifications 
 
Duties:
  • Play the Lead Architecture Role for the Productivity Cloud Platforms and Network Infrastructure 
  • Play a pivotal role in the technical governance of the platforms as the platform owner 
  • Lead the Networks specialist(s) in the following areas: WAN, Cloud Virtual Networks (i.e., Azure Networks/Google Virtual Networks/AWS VPC) 
  • Lead the UC/Messaging Teams in the following Hybrid Exchange – OnPrem and Online, M365 Collaboration Platform (Teams, Yammer etc.) 
  • Lead the Unified Communication Discipline: In the design and implementation of Telephony, Video Conferencing and Voice Communications services solutions to cater for a hybrid workforce. 
  • Play a pivotal role in the Management of the Cloud Directory Services space i.e., Azure AD/ AWS Identity Services/ Google Cloud Identity
