​We are currently seeking applications from dynamic individuals for the following position: 

 
HEAD: PROCESS AND BUSINESS ENABLEMENT 
• *Job Grade: E1 – E3 
• Ref: HBEC001 
• Salary: All-inclusive remuneration package negotiable 
• Centre: Public Investment Corporation, Pretoria 
 
Purpose of the role: 
To identify, design and align business operations with strategic goals by improving processes to enhance productivity and achieve business objectives. 
 
Requirements:
• Relevant postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent 
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with 5 years at Senior Management level. 
• A track record in project and/or programme management from Feasibility through to final implementation and delivery 
• Strong understanding and application of process reengineering principles, systems development life-cycle methodologies and techniques to achieve process/operational benefits in terms of cost, time, quality and risk. 
• Proficiency in project and change management methodologies. 
 
Duties:
• Strategic leadership: Develop and implement business enablement and transformation strategies, often in partnership with departments. 
• Business Process Reengineering: Identify business process re-engineering opportunities, and development of solutions to automate/digitise business processes. 
• Process improvementLead initiatives to re-engineer and standardise processes, focusing on efficiency, automation, and digitisation. Provide strategic thinking, technical know-how and leadership to establish and implement leading-edge quality programmes in the organisation. 
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with departments to identify process gaps, understand needs, and implement solutions. Ensure business enablement efforts are aligned with the PIC business needs and objectives. 
• Project Management: Oversee and execute projects and strategic initiatives and ensure they are implemented effectively across the organisation. Effective and efficient management of projects in internal and external environments. Delivery of projects according to project objectives within time and budget estimates, according to quality standards and within acceptable levels of risk to the PIC. 
• Project Landing: Perform project scope management and change management to ensure that the business solution is “landed” within the relevant business area/s according to customer expectations and in such a way that the solution is successfully used by the business to deliver the expected benefits. 
• Facilitation and Change Management: Facilitate change management strategy and the interventions required to achieve significant culture and business change within the organisation. Knowledge of change management methods and tools. Personal ability to facilitate change, including the design of new business solutions. 
 
Competencies and skills: 
• Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing teams and large-scale projects. 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. 
• Demonstrated business acumen in terms of delivering end-to-end IT solutions that provide business benefits, with successful change management; Experience with data analysis and performance metrics to drive business decisions. 
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable plans and initiatives. 
• Technical aptitude to understand and implement new tools and technologies. 
• Practical knowledge and application of business principles in terms of strategy, operations, finance, human resources and customer relationship management. 
• Manage staff resource allocation to projects based upon project skill requirements, current competencies and career development plans. 
• Manage business performance in terms of identifying the measures of business success based on the overall business strategy and establishing a business management model to measure this success. 
• Demonstrated people management skills as well as mentoring in project, process reengineering and solution design/development methodologies, techniques and tools.
