SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Introduction
The Public Health and Social Development Sectoral Bargaining Council (PHSDSBC) is designated in section 36 of the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995, to promote labour peace through constructive collective bargaining and expeditious resolution of disputes.
- The PHSDSBC has a vacancy for a Supply Chain Management Officer.

Note: The application must include a detailed Curriculum Vitae, Certified copies of the following:
- Identity Document, Grade 12 Certificate, the highest required qualifications, and a driver’s license. Please do so to ensure your application is not disqualified. Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by an evaluation report issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The applicant must have all foreign qualifications evaluated by SAQA and provide proof of such an evaluation report (only when shortlisted). Foreign applicants should also attach certified copies of their work permits.
- All shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a generic competency assessment that intends to test relevant skills, knowledge and other elements of the job, the logistics of which will be communicated by the PHSDSBC.

- The successful candidate will be subject to security vetting. PHSDSBC will conduct reference checks, which may include the social media profiles of the shortlisted candidates. Should this be uncovered during/after the interview, the application will not be considered, and in the unlikely event that the person has been appointed, such appointment will be terminated.
- The successful candidate will be appointed subject to positive results of the security clearance process. The successful candidate must enter into an employment contract and sign a performance agreement with the PHSDSBC.

- Post: Supply Chain Management Officer. Reference number: 17/11/2025/CSD/SCM/001.
- Salary: R345,885.18 per annum (Level 7).
- Centre: Gauteng (Centurion).
- Requirements: Applicants must have a Grade 12 Certificate and a recognised three-year Degree/ Diploma in Financial Accounting, SCM or relevant (NQF7). Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Management Officer.
