OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Risk Officer is responsible for the maintenance, the execution of a comprehensive process to facilitate the identification, assessing and monitoring of risks that may impact on PPRA’s overall performance. The role is also responsible for assessment and profiling of risks for the entire Authority and to register identified risks into the risk register.
REQUIREMENTS
• A post graduate Diploma qualification in Governance, Risk and Compliance Management or equivalent.
• Membership with IRMSA will be advantageous.

COMPLIANCE OFFICER

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory compliance that is applicable to the PPRA business, are implemented and enforced and are in line with the controls established by the PPRA Risk and Compliance department and perform periodic compliance monitoring reviews, to identify areas of non-compliance and improvement and aid the business unit in executing its responsibility to comply with associated laws, regulation including governance and professional standards, business practices, code of conduct, internal standards, policies and procedures, and to assist with the implementation and operationalization of risk and compliance management frameworks within the PPRA.
REQUIREMENTS

CHIEF INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CIO)

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
Develop and Integrate ICT systems to ensure smooth running of all existing systems. implement modern infrastructure and ensure maintenance of architectural models of business processes, ensure effective and efficient business operations through optimizing the use of information and management of ICT related projects across PPRA
REQUIREMENTS
• Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent NQF level 9.
• 10 years working experience, 3 - 5 of which must be at senior management level in a large/ complex organization.
• Understanding of ICT Systems, Networks and, ICT Architecture.
• Sound knowledge and experience of having formulated, implemented and maintained a robust cybersecurity strategy and framework.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training programmes which were implemented to maintain a high level of awareness among all users.
• Understanding and knowledge of large-scale system development and maintenance.
• Legislation applicable to PPRA, PFMA, GAAP, KING IV, LRA, SDA, BCEA and, Companies Act.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and deliver a strategic ICT direction and ensure delivery uniform delivery in terms of the PPRA ICT performance expectations.
• Contribute to the development of the PPRA Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan and provide input based on a review of ICT related issues, trends and best practices in the industry.
• Manage and position the ICT Unit’s operations to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs and build its position and credibility in the organization and the industry.

SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining PPRA’s ICT systems, including desktop provision, network infrastructure, and associated software and business applications to maximise the use of PPRA ICT.
The role provides PPRA’s systems users with support deployment, configuration and management of computing and infrastructure services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a similar environment.
• Previous working experience in SAP Business One, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange.
• Working knowledge of legislation affecting the organisation.
• Customer Service orientation.
• Analytical, task and deadline orientation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintenance of customer care support system.
• Supports, tests and troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
• Support SAP Business One, Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange.
• Provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet the PPRA’s IT goals.
• Provide administration of all projects related to functions in the unit.
• Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software-related problems.

• Support and maintain end-user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training.
