What we're looking for: We are looking for a Maintenance Planner based at Aeroton Bakery. Successful incumbent will organize and schedule all maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency, creating detailed work packages for technicians, manage spare parts inventory, ensuring resource readiness and coordinating with operations and vendors to align maintenance with production goals.
Accountabilities:
- Embed PeMM every day and ensure compliance and self-audits are performed
- Development of an optimised maintenance work plan with defined and documented processes
- Development of appropriate routine maintenance schedules
- Ensure accurate data and document control
- Communicate and train maintenance and production personnel in the maintenance procedures
- Integration of maintenance activities with production plans
- Integration of maintenance activities with production boil-outs.
- Forward planning of manpower and materials for planned work and ensuring that those resources are marshalled in readiness.
- Accurate estimation of maintenance work in relation to duration, priority, skills requirements, spares, special tools and equipment, specialist services, and identification of appropriate material requirements.

Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing environment in the FMCG industry

What we're looking for: We looking for an Instrument Technician based ar Isando Plant Snacks.
Main Purpose of the role:
- The main purpose is primarily to ensure maximum plant uptime is achieved continuously.
- The individual must be a leader in maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems, instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- The individual must ensure that the factory meets its key KPIs which include but are not limited to production volume, safety and quality compliance, cost reduction, equipment reliability improvement and downtime reduction.
Accountabilities:
- Performs electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities associated with process plant, packaging plant; palletizing plant, WWTP, utilities and facilities.
- Leading all electrical and instrumentation repairs and maintenance activities in designated area of responsibility.
- Monitors daily downtime and institutes corrective action plans to prevent recurrences of breakdowns.
- Calibrates, repairs and maintains instrumentation, control and electrical associated equipment to ensure operation within set standards.
- Perform root cause analysis to address asset performance problems and/or reduce cost.
- Maintains PLCs, SCADA systems and networks (hardware and software) and perform changes/modifications as required.
- Continuously evaluates the equipment control philosophies and initiates improvement actions in order to achieve asset performance targets.
- Implements continuous improvement on all electrical and electronic equipment in the plant.
- Assist in commissioning of modifications/projects.
- Ensures proper documentation of changes/modifications and perform internal audits.

Qualifications
- Electrical trade tested with at least N6/S4 diploma qualification in Electrical : Instrumentation and control.
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in the Production/FMCG environment.
- Advanced computer literacy skills with knowledge of MS Office and SAP maintenance management system
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience in control systems - PLCs, SCADA, VSDs and Servo drives, HMI systems, standalone controllers, high speed printers and robotics.
- Extensive knowledge of instrumentation, electrical diagrams, P&IDs with a high quality of work.
- Strong PLC fault finding and troubleshooting skills and thorough knowledge of operator interfaces and HMIs.

What we're looking for: We're looking for a Maintenance Planner based at our Prospection Plant Snacks. The Maintenance planner shall be under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance planner responsibility is to maximise technical availability, asset reliability and planned maintenance effectiveness by administering the maintenance planning system, ensuring data integrity, driving analytical problem‑solving, and embedding reliability engineering principles. The role combines diligent PM system administration with leading reliability initiatives that reduce unplanned downtime, eliminate repeat failures, and strengthen maintenance strategy.
Accountabilities:
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Develop weekly Provisional and Confirmed maintenance plans aligned with Production, Quality, Utilities, and Safety requirements. Ensure weekly planning meetings follow the PeMM standard attendees and agenda.
- Build, maintain, and optimize 12‑month maintenance master plans, including estimated times, craft allocation, spares, seasonal shutdowns, A&B spares, and reactive forecasts based on previous years.
- Ensure all required labour, materials, contractor resources, permits, and safety pre‑checks are defined and ready before job execution.
CMMS Master Data & Work Order Management
- Ensure all work orders meet the PeMM Data Standard (correct type, activity, failure & cause codes, timestamps, long descriptions, statuses, priority). Drive >80% data quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate equipment master data, ensure new equipment is added with correct structures, FLOCs, maintenance plans, and classification aligned to CMMS playbooks.

- WOs >30 days remain <1% of total backlog
- Aged backlog <5% of weekly throughput
Maintenance Strategy & Preventive Programme Execution
- Convert OEM tasks into RCM/FMEA‑based maintenance plans, ensuring plans are reviewed annually and aligned to asset criticality.
- Ensure consistent execution of Preventive Maintenance, targeting >80% planned work compliance and supporting the reduction of reactive hours.
- Integrate Condition Monitoring tasks (lubrication, vibration, thermography, oil analysis, inspections) into the CMMS with correct intervals and routes.
. Spares, BOMs & Inventory Coordination
- Build and maintain equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs) in CMMS ensuring >80% completeness and accuracy (location, quantity, part numbers).
- Ensure parts reservation for all planned work, use JIB shelves effectively, and conduct quarterly reviews of unused reserved parts.
- Support inventory team with criticality analysis, obsolescence reviews, MRP parameters, and ensuring spares meet Global IMA standards.
Reliability, RCA & Loss Analysis Support
- Facilitate the closure and tracking of Root Cause Analysis actions for all qualifying downtime events (>4 hours for Beverages). Ensure RCA → CMMS linkage and verify action completion.
- Maintain structured Top Losses analysis for downtime, MTBF, MTTR, high cost items, high usage spares, and OEM performance. Support monthly maintenance scorecard updates.
- Ensure Work Orders include findings that inform updates to maintenance plans, intervals, or design changes
Contractor & Service Provider Coordination
- Ensure contractor work is planned, scoped, and reviewed for quality. Capture all contractor labour hours and costs in the CMMS (>75% required to score “At Standard”).
- Prepare job packs, risk assessments, permits, spares lists, and safe‑work criteria for contractor tasks.
EHS & Compliance‑Driven Maintenance
- Ensure 100% scheduling and tracking of all legislated inspections (lifting equipment, boilers, compressors, electrical HV/LV tests, fire systems) with >90% completion to target dates.

- Coordinate and control all planned and corrective maintenance activities across the raisin manufacturing site, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to operations.

Job Overview:
The Store Controller is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, compliance with quality standards and effective Resource Management within the outbound Warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in loss prevention, freight optimization and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Operational Efficiency and Accuracy
- Oversee outbound operations including order selection, picking, loading and invoicing via EWM
- Coordinate with transport teams according to the daily load plan
- Monitor and validate all stock movements to prevent variances and loading errors
- Ensure accurate documentation and control of stock transactions
Inventory Management and Loss Prevention
- Manage daily cycle counting processes with a target of 0% stock loss
- Track and report inventory variances and initiate corrective actions
- Implement and monitor FIFO stock rotation practices to maintain product freshness
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure completion of forklift pre-inspections and truck inspection forms

Additional Responsibilities
- Oversee loading and servicing of wet waste trucks, including after-hours call-outs

- Control the receipt, storage and despatch of stock to ensure that all stock items can be accounted for at all times
- Maintain effective stock rotation on a first-in-first-out basis to ensure stock freshness in accordance with company policy

Responsibilities
We're looking for an EHS Coordinator based at our Atlantis Cereals Plant to assist the EHS Site Manager and site management to ensure employee safety by ensuring that all risks in the workplace are identified, evaluated and controlled, in a manner that also complies with the OHS Act and PEPSICO international standards. To also ensure that Pepsico complies with all the National Environmental Standards.
Accountabilities:
- Scheduling/Managing of respective SHE Committee meetings in the Atlantis – Manufacturing & Warehousing
- Conduct monthly & annual EHS Steering Group meetings with the senior team.
- Review and approve the minutes of the meetings and maintain the records for continuous or future reference.
- Maintain the EHS action tracker on a daily and weekly basis which include accident reports, non-conformance reports, hazard reports, all related inspections.
- Ensure Near misses are recorded as well as action plans addressed providing visibility to the entire plant on progress in this regard.
- Ensure Risk Assessments are reviewed, maintained and action plans managed accordingly.
- Ensure compliance to the COIDA Act.
- Ensure training records of all critical tasks and safe working practices are kept.
- Ensure training matrix is updated and follow up training done as scheduled.
- Maintenance of the GEHSMS program, ensuring compliance to all applicable standards.
- Plan and lead the emergency drills.
- Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed timeously and required updates effected.
- Ensure that documents are stored & preserved in terms of any internal and statutory requirements for the required retention periods as applicable.

- Review and ensure EHS Induction material is accurate and check effectiveness of the assessment.

Job Overview:
The primary purpose of a Trainee Miller is to develop the technical, operational and quality control skills required to operate and manage maize milling processes efficiently and safely. The role serves as a structured learning position that prepares the individual to become a fully competent Miller (NQF level 5 Occupational Certificate) responsible for producing high-quality maize products.
A Trainee Miller is accountable for supporting safe, efficient and high -quality milling operations while developing the competence required to operate independently.
Operational Support
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the milling plant under supervision
- Ensure continuous and smooth product flow through all process stages
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all milling activities
Product Quality Assurance
- Support production of maize products that meet required specifications
- Conduct routine checks on product quality (texture, granulation, contamination)
- Immediately report any deviations or off -spec product to the Miller or Supervisor
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards
- Participate in cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning of machines and conveyors
