SECURITY OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Security Operations Supervisor to join our Group Security team. The successful candidate will oversee the smooth functioning of security operations at the Manufacturing plant (A-Plant), satellite plants/facilities & security assessment (Audit) of the security services by applying Company Policies & Procedures in order to ensure maximum security of employees and Company assets. This position is based in the Human Resources Division (Kariega)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyse daily incident reports, formulate & implement appropriate actions in order to provide a pro-active security service.
- Liaise and inform supervision and management on security issues related to the Company and Departments.
- Ensure the upkeep of the Security Department’s equipment & facilities.
- Co-ordinate and approve manpower allocation of security officers as required.
- Prepare and present training for contract security personnel.
- Coordinate, audit and ensure that administrative duties related to the function are timeously and efficiently carried out
- Participate in Duty Officer Duties to ensure maximum control during any emergency which may arise during non-working hours.
- Audit and control the VW ID card operation.
- Assess Group Security Work Instructions and security service provider site instructions on a monthly basis.
- Bi-annually or as required asses the security measures for the SOFA operation and ensure that adequate security measures are in place to provide a safe and secure environment for the Volkswagen Group visitors
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of a National Diploma in Security Risk Management
- An additional qualification in Business and Finance Management would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in Security, of which a minimum of 3 years should have been in depth focus and knowledge on security operational planning, organizing and controlling.
- 2 years supervisory/leadership experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Accounting to assume overall responsibility for all accounting functions within the organization, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely financial data and statutory financial reporting in line with IFRS and Volkswagen Group Accounting Guidelines. The role provides strong financial leadership, supports business strategy and governance, and mitigates financial and reputational risk. - This position is based in teh Finance Division (Kariega)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall responsibility for financial accounting and reporting, including preparation and transmission of FACTS reporting to the parent company.
- Oversight of the preparation of Company and Group consolidated Annual Financial Statements.
- Overall accountability for inventory accounting and control, product and component costing.
- Ensure integrity of management accounting data to support decision-making.
- Oversight of Accounts Payable management.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and VW Group Accounting Guidelines.
- Responsibility for accounting and claims processes under the Automotive Production and Development Programme (APDP); Production Incentive (PI) benefits and EUR1 calculations.
- Management of Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS) benefit applications and claims.
- Liaison with Group Accounting, External Auditors, Benefit Fund Administrators and Government stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted business advisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) or
- BCom Accounting Honours Degree with completed articles
Work Experience:
- Completed articles with strong financial reporting experience
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a financial accounting environment
- Experience in complex regulatory, audit and reporting environments preferred
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines, IFRS and accounting principles
- Strong financial and analytical capability with strategic thinking ability
- Ability to translate complex financial data into executive-level insights

Brief Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role includes performing mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. The mechanic must stay up to date with technical information, follow workshop procedures and safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, support apprentice training, and ensure all work whether completed in-house or by suppliers meets required quality standards. This position is based in NSO (Kariega)
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Servicing and repairing VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial vehicles.
- Performing electrical repairs across VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial models.
- Ensuring road safety through high-quality workmanship.
- Keeping up to date with technical developments via workshop bulletins and manuals.
- Adhering to workshop regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
- Training assigned apprentices.
- Assisting in vehicle preparation for press launches.
- Fitting required accessories to company models.
- Ensuring all work carried out in-house or by suppliers meets required quality standards.
Qualification requirements
- Minimum qualification: Matric / N3 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test Certificate: Motor Mechanic
- Valid Master Technician qualification at dealer level
Experience
3 years’ post-qualification experience in an after-sales workshop environment
Essentials
- Knowledge of ODIS and ElsaPro systems
- Operational experience with Volkswagen Group diagnostic equipment (VAS/VCI)
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of VW, Audi, and Commercial products
- Ability to work independently to high safety and quality standards
- Strong technical expertise with proven application, initiative, and flexibility
- Willingness to work overtime at short notice when required
- Valid driver’s license (minimum old Code 08)

Brief Role Description
The role ensures full financial integrity of all warranty claims and replaces parts by coordinating activities between Parts, After Sales, Finance, and Technical teams. This includes accurate claim formulation, parts processing, cost allocation, financial reporting, compliance with Group standards, and technical support to workshop personnel. this position is based in NSO (Kariega)
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Manage the complete warranty claim process using SAGA to ensure accurate technical defect reporting and compliance with Group standards.
- Validate repair orders in ElsaPro to confirm correct labour times, operating codes, and cost allocation.
- Review job cards and documentation to ensure accurate, error‑free submissions.
- Process and allocate parts usage through DMS and SAP to maintain accurate job card costing.
- Complete daily job costing and assign expenses to the correct accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
- Recover costs for rejected claims through coordination with Payroll and Finance.
- Compile and distribute daily and monthly financial and operational reports for key stakeholders.
- Coordinate workshop activities for recalls, campaigns, and technical actions to ensure timeous completion.
- Coach workshop personnel on technical reporting requirements to improve claim quality.
- Identify and correct job card deficiencies using the open WIP system.
- Maintain accurate system configurations and labour rates in SAGA and DMS.
- Escalate system or financial discrepancies to Information Services and Cost Accounting.
Qualification requirements
- National Diploma / Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Warranty Administration Certification
Experience needed
- Minimum 3 years’ motor industry experience within After Sales coupled with warranty administration and financial control experience
- Experience in dealership or manufacturing workshop environment preferred

The Quality Engineer – Electrical is responsible for ensuring that electrical motor vehicle components consistently meet specification requirements throughout their lifecycle. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of motor vehicle electrical components, harnesses, specifications, manufacturing processes, and testing methods
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
