Nquthu Local Municipality (KZ 242) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position:
Position : Examiner Driver’s License
Salary : Task Grade 09 of the category 1 Municipality, plus Benefits such as Medical Aid, Pension Fund and 13th Cheque
Type of Contract : Permanent
Place of Work : Traffic Offices
Key Requirements:
Grade 12 Senior Certificate
Traffic Diploma
Valid Peace officers certificate
Registered as a Traffic Officer with the Department of Transport
Code EC Drivers Licence
Grade B Driving licence examiner
Registered with Department of transport and active on the Enatis System
Minimum of two years relevant experience
Ability to communicate in both isiZulu and English
Problem solving skills, writing skills, computer knowledge and knowledge of NRTA 93/96.
Be physically fit and able bodied
No criminal records or pending cases.
KEY PERFORMAMANCE AREAS
Examine applicants for Driving licences
Conduct learners licences
Book applicants for learners and drivers licences
Issue learners licences and drivers licences
Conduct eye test and D/L conversion
Assist on filing all relevant documents
Perform general and selective duties of law enforcement, enforce council bylaws, issue traffic fines, traffic control, escorting, and perform point duties, execution of warrant of arrest and other traffic related duties directed by supervisor.
