MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 
▪ A recognized National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 
▪ Relevant Trade Test will be an added advantage. 
▪ Teachers Qualification will be an added advantage. 
▪ Minimum (3) years appropriate industry experience. 
▪ Minimum three (3) years relevant teaching/training experience. 
▪ Must have a sound knowledge of legislation associated with QCTO, CBMT, Apprenticeships, ARPL, Accredited Skills Programmes and Trade Testing. 
▪ Sound knowledge of theory and practical in the specific field being applied for. 
▪ Computer Literacy. 
▪ Qualified Assessor. 
▪ Qualified Moderator. 
▪ Valid Driver’s Licence. 
▪ Registered with SACE. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 
▪ Lecturing the boilermaker theory and the platers drawings. 
▪ Compliance with the Job Description of a Program Manager / Senior Lecturer. 
▪ Assist the Head of Department with academic matters to meet deadlines and compile Reports. 
▪ Scheduling academic support for students. 
▪ Plan and monitor academic interventions. 
▪ Monitor Attendance Registers and follow up on absenteeism. 
▪ Plan Student and Lecturer Timetables. 
▪ Implement and manage Staff and Student discipline. 
▪ Create a healthy academic environment. 
▪ Strengthen relationships with Industry. 
▪ Perform regular Industry visits.
