ELECTRICITY AND ENERGY DIRECTORATE

TASK GRADE: 14 (R517 584 – R719 580 per annum)
(Basic salary only, excluding benefits)

Qualifications and experience required:
- Degree or BTech Degree plus relevant qualification in GIS and computerized electrical drawing/draughting techniques.
- Ten years’ relevant experience.
- Registered to the South African Council for the Architectural Profession.
- Valid Code B Driver’s License.
Key attributes and competencies:

· Monitors efficiency of the Drawing Office and implements policies and procedures.
· Managerial and Supervisory skills.
· Manages, develops, administers and implement components of the GIS of Electricity and Energy Directorate.
· Financial and Report-writing skills.
Job purpose:
Manages the functions of the Drawing Office in order to provide an efficient GIS spatial and draughting, advice and support service to the Electricity and Energy Business Unit and other business unit.
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, a medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
