TASK Grade 15 (R582 636 – R810 072) per annum)

Qualifications and experience required: 
·         B Tech Degree in Building Construction Management or in a related Engineering field.
·         Valid Code B Driving License.
·         Considerable years (4-5 years) experiences in Building/Facility Management.
·         Control dimension associated with design skills.
·         Policies and procedures understanding skills.
·         Communication and analytical skills.
·         Able to define to define skill gap and training needs skills.
·         Conduct performance appraisal measure skills.

Key attributes and competencies: 
  • Compiling investigational reports knowledge.
  • Monitoring Building Maintenance Management System database knowledge.
  • Verification compliance of procedures lad down knowledge.
  • Ensuring of maintenance requirements with respect of municipal building and facilities knowledge.
  • Workplace conflict resolution strategy.
  • Monitor contractor’s performance levels against specification.
  • Guidance on tender procurement knowledge.
 
 
Job purpose:
Manages the key performance areas associated with the maintenance of Building and associated infrastructure and, recreational facilities through analysis and interpretation of requirement and provision of guidelines, planning and implementing rehabilitee/restoration programmes and maintenance investigating the applicability of changes, adjustments or the introduction of new approaches and ,communicating and reporting outcomes in order to ensure quality and safety standards are compiled with contributing to optimum user satisfaction.
