Qualification / Experience
B Tech or B Degree (NQF level 7) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related NQF level 7 qualification in the Engineering field.
Postgraduate qualification in above fields or Business Management provides added advantage.
10 years in the related field, of which 5 years have been at management level and Senior Management experience will be advantageous.
Knowledge

Purpose
To administer compulsory specifications and technical regulations on behalf of Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition by monitoring compliance through inspections and/or evaluation.
KPAs / Key Outputs
Monitor Compliance with Compulsory Specifications and Technical Regulations;
Appropriate sanctions for non-compliance;
Process Applications for Letters of Authority, Sales Permits and Certificates;
NRCS Quality Management System (QMS);
Stakeholder relationships; and
NRCS Committees
Qualification / Experience
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Disciplines or Sciences
Must be willing to travel
Will be required to undergo training for 18 – 24 months

Knowledge
General understanding of the NRCS Act and Regulations, compulsory specifications related to area of speciality SANS 17020 and various related legislation impacting on the work of NRCS
