NATIONAL REGULATOR FOR COMPULSORY SPECIFICATIONS (NRCS)
The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) was established on 1 September 2008 in accordance with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications Act. It is an agency of the dti, established to administer compulsory specifications and other technical regulations with the view to protect human health and safety, the environment and to ensure fair trade, in accordance with Government policies and guidelines.

Reporting to: Manager: Inspections (Operations)
Ref No: 8896
Basic Salary Per Annum R 347 818.83
Purpose: To provide administration support to the department by ensuring proper records of customers, inspection and approvals are maintained.
KPA/ Key outputs:
- General Administration; and
- Department Specific Administration;
Requirements/ Experience:
- Diploma in office administration and/or equivalent; and
- 2 years in an office administration role.
Knowledge & Skills: Good knowledge of departmental processes; Basic knowledge of departmental products; and Basic knowledge of legislation which governs department testing procedures
Behavioural attributes: Communication skills – written and verbal; Customer service orientation; Ability to work independently with little instruction; Self-confident; and Assertive
NB:
