MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Mentors will plan, prepare, and conduct Vlogging Activities in developing competence and building of the POE for Statement of Results in FETC: Film and Television Production Operations (NQF L 4 SAQA 61450).
The Mentors will play an active role in the development of technical and storytelling skills using Vlogging Kits.
JOB OBJECTIVES
• Delegates produce audio-visual content using a mobile phone or kit.
• Delegates show creative producing skills for digital platforms and online marketing spaces.
• Delegates utilize various apps for packaging
• Delegates apply the skills of storytelling and technical skills of shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing
• To plan, prepare and conduct facilitation activities toward learner competency in accordance with film and television production (Vlogging Course)
• To meet the ETQA requirements in building competencies and POE.
Education: Formal Qualifications
Education involves the acquisition of knowledge and skills through learning where the subject matter is imparted systematically. Formal qualifications are obtained by studying at formal institutions e.g., universities, Technikons, colleges, etc.
Level of Education
Minimum:
• National Certificate in Media Studies and Film and Television Production Skills at NQF Level 5
• Practical Experience in Media, Content and Film and Television Production Skills – 2 years of Industry experience

Experience is obtained through opportunities for exposure and practice at work. It includes all working experience that has some bearing on the job and is not restricted to the current organisation. Supervised on-the-job training, internships and learnerships are incorporated within this category.
Minimum:
• Practical Experience in Media, Content and Film and Television Production Skills – 2 years of Industry experience
