Job Description
Mhlathuze Water seeks to appoint an energetic and reliable individual to fulfil the role of: Performance Monitoring & Evaluation Administrator. Reporting to the Manager: Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, the incumbent in this position will be required to provide administrative support to the section for the planning, evaluating, auditing and monitoring of organizational progress against identified key performance targets and indicators.

- Administer the records for the section so that they are protected, accessible and available to users in the organisation.
- Provide feedback to the Departments on the section and organisational performance based on monitoring data findings
- Assist in conducting an analysis of the data collected so as to ensure plans are compiled to improve performance in areas where targets have not been met.
- Compile and type reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Arrange and co-ordinate meetings for the section and take minutes
- Create purchase requisitions for the sourcing of goods and services
- Document, organise and capture progress on the achievement of set performance measures
- Provide administrative support to the production of the Annual Report, Business plan and the Shareholder’s Compact.
Requirements
- Matric and a minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Administration.
- A certificate or Post Graduate Qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation or Strategy and Planning will be advantageous.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in Administration, with prior experience in Monitoring and Evaluation being advantageous.
- Must have a strong grasp of PFMA, applicable National Treasury Regulations, Auditor General, Corporate Governance principles etc.
- Assertive, tactful, strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills and the confidence and ability to liaise with management and employees as well as external stakeholders.
- Ability to apply discretion in handling confidential information, maintain independence, integrity and objectivity
- Capacity and capability to produce high quality reports is essential.
- Must be fully computer literate and in possession of a Valid driver’s licence of minimum Code B
