The incumbent is expected to work towards getting the unit accredited and training of a paediatrician as a sub specialist in paediatric gastroenterology. The incumbent will utilize the expertise available at IALCH (Paediatric surgery, Adult Gastro-enterology and other Paediatric subspecialties) to further these goals He/she will also establish links with experts in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
