MONTHLY STIPEND
R10 830 per month. (all-inclusive amount)
 
FRINGE BENEFITS
There are no other fringe benefits applicable.
 
Minimum Requirements:
· Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in plumbing maintenance, water reticulation, and infrastructure repairs
· Knowledge of municipal water and sanitation systems will be an added advantage
· Knowledge of municipal water and sanitation systems
· Valid driver’s license (Code B or higher)
· Physical fitness and ability to work under pressure
 
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation, maintenance, and repair of water connections
· Conducting plumbing inspections and ensuring compliance with standards
· Identifying and repairing leaks and burst pipes/meters
· Identifying tampering with meters and connections
· Ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to municipal regulations

MONTHLY STIPEND
R6498 per month. (all-inclusive amount)

Minimum Requirements:
· Grade 9 or equivalent qualification
· Experience in water meter installation or any other plumbing maintenance
· Knowledge of water supply systems and basic plumbing principles
· Ability to work with tools and perform manual labor
· Willingness to work in different locations across the district
· Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
 
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation and replacement of water meters
· Assisting in leak detection and reporting faulty meters
· Ensuring proper meter connections and adherence to installation guidelines
· Working with plumbers and municipal teams to improve water services
 
General Requirements for Both Positions:
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to work extended hours when required
· Commitment to delivering quality municipal services
