CONSIGNMENT CONTROL OFFICER X2
SALARY (R10 553.63-R14 246.72 per month basic, plus benefits)
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Record delivery notes (platform level)
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of company assets.
  • Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Perform clerical duties and operate a computer terminal, miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, batch delivery notes per Agent and print daily delivery notes listing
  • Furnish investigators with queries that need to be investigated.
  • Query all shortages with Hall Inspectors, Control unique numbers and cancellations with transporters, handle telephone enquiries from different stakeholders, and ensure accurate information recorded on the system, compare delivery notes to arrivals list
  • Interpret delivery note in order to capture correct quality, commodities, and corrections and issue market reference number accordingly.
  • Ensure sufficient audit trial of stock movement in and out of cold sore and ripening facility Understand and adhere to market bylaws and Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 / Matric.
Willing to work shifts
High level of numeracy and literacy skills
 
EXPERIENCE:
Up to 2 years in logistics and consignment experience
