VALUER – MOVEABLE ASSETS: CREDIT RISK – C4

Reporting to the Manager: Credit Operations, the Property Valuer will conduct physical professional Assessments of all Ithala Financial Services securities, on both existing and new loans, and provide qualified reports on these securities whilst implementing a continuous valuation, programme. 
 
The Property Valuer will: 
• Valuing of all Moveable Assets and Securities 
• Verify whether assets are delivered on time and in working condition. 
• Submitting comprehensive valuation reports of inspected assets to SBIJ. 
• Technical guidance to SBU’s 
• Providing professional assistance in disposing of assets and PIP’s. 
• Managing, updating, and maintaining and database. 
• Provide monthly reports and maintain accurate records. 
 
The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered: 
Qualifications:
• Degree in Valuations, Construction, Engineering, Mechanical or another relevant field. 
• Five (5) years’ experience in Valuation for different types of moveable assets.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and own transport is essential. 
 
Requisite Functional Competencies 
• Computer Literacy (MS Office). 
• Knowledge of legislation pertaining to IDFC. 
• Sound knowledge of valuation methods. 
• Knowledge and experience in financial planning and forecasting 
• Knowledge and understanding of the Public Financial Management Act. 
• Knowledge of corporate governance principals

PROPERTY MANAGER: D2 X2 
PROPERTIES DEPARTMENT 
MIDLANDS PORTFOLIO

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager: The Property Manager will manage day to day operations of the property management portfolio assigned to the position. 
 
The Property Manager will be responsible for the following: 
➢ Monitor vacancies and manage marketing and promotion of the property 
➢ Following up and processing enquiries and applications 
➢ Establishing tenants 
➢ Negotiating leases 
➢ Ensure the implementation of and adherence to risk policies and procedures. 
➢ Managing Ithala’s property portfolio. 
➢ Managing administration and finances of Ithala Property Portfolio 
➢ Prepare management reports 
➢ Contribute in setting Key Performance Indicators and outcome of personnel and processes. 
 
The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered for this position: 
Degree or Diploma in Business 
Commerce or Management Property related qualifications will be an added advantage. 
3 years minimum property related experience. 
Valid Driver’s License 
• Basic Legal understanding of the property industry 
• Good Financial Skills 
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office packages 
• Negotiation skills 
• People Management Skills 
• Communication Skills
