An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualifications and experience to ensure that fraudulent activities are reduced to a minimal at Ithala SOC Ltd 
 
 
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer: the successful candidate will be expected to: 
 Effectively manage Fraud prevention in the entire business 
 Develop and compile the Fraud Prevention and prevention strategies 
 Implement fraud prevention strategies 
 Educate and train on Fraud awareness 
 Conduct fraud prevention 
 Verify and validate FICA documents against the fraud depository 
 Maintain and update fraud depository list 
 Ensure that all client queries are resolved timeously 
 Manage and take accountability for the FAIS and FICA compliance function. 
 Ensure compliance to processes and minimise risk.

With good understanding and proven track record in Fraud & Prevention, the ideal candidate will have: 
 A three (3) year qualification in Banking and a Certified Fraud Examiner. 
 A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a banking and fraud verification environment. 


 Working knowledge of Criminal Procedures Act. 
 Sound knowledge of investigative Techniques and skills 
 Sound knowledge and application of Investigative Techniques and skills. 
​ Working knowledge of the Criminal Procedures Act. 
 Sound knowledge and application of FICA. 
 Ability to compile and implement fraud prevention strategies. 
 Ability to determine and implement security measures and features. 
 Administrative and report writing skills. 
 Computer literacy.
