ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT 
1X ARTISAN ASSISTANT (OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE) 
(Job Id Number: (7/3/3/024) 
Salary: R181 196. 40 per annum (Job level 14) 
 
The job purpose: To perform general labour activities related to the electrical infrastructure 

 
Key performance areas: Performs the following labourer’s supportive tasks to provide assistance to the electrical staff in the maintenance and construction of electrical infrastructure  Cleans substation surrounding area and stores area to ensure neat, clean and safe work environment  Maintain and clean equipment and tools used to ensure clean equipment and tools and also to maintain in good working condition.  Perform any other related duties as instructed by Supervisor 
 
Requirements: Grade 8 with communication skills; one (01) year relevant experience.
