ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT 
1 X BUILDING AND INSPECTOR 
(Job Id Numbers: (5/4/1/004) 
Salary: R466 770. 72 per annum (Job level 06) 
 
The job purpose is to perform building and drainage inspection. 
 
 
Key performance areas: The Foreman must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council. He/she will be responsible for:  Perform building and drainage inspection activities  Perform inspections of municipal buildings  Perform administrative and human resources related activities  Perform driver activities. 
 
Requirements: National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Plumbing & Drainage, and Building or relevant qualification; Trade Test Certificate; Driver’s license; Three (03) years’ experience; Good Communication skills.
