1 X SUPERVISOR / DRIVER (Waste Management)

Salary: R205 767.72 per annum (job level 12)
Job Purpose: To render a solid waste removal service to ensure the effective and efficient removal of solid waste from facilities (litter picking, public toilets, street, refuse, medical). Supervises a team of Senior Labourers.
Key Performance Areas: The Supervisor/ Driver must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council Observes and supervises activities of team to ensure the completion of the daily tasks and the improvement of productivity Observes and supervises utilisation, application and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and material to ensure the safe keeping and condition thereof Performs administrative and human resources-related activities to ensure completion of an administrative service and the well-being of the workforce Performs driver activities using a vehicle / truck to transport machinery, equipment and workers to and from the workplace Perform any other related duties as instructed by supervisor.
Requirements:Grade 12 Valid C1 Driver’s license with PRDP Communication Skills Supervisory Skills Bilingualism Productivity and Motivational Skills Interpersonal Skills Leadership Abilities Attention to Detail Three(3) years applicable experience
