SUMMARY OF CORE FUNCTIONS: Plans and manages the key performance areas and objectives associated with the Performance Management Systems (PMS) through developing, monitoring and maintaining medium to long term strategy of the economic health and viability of the municipality, and ensuring long term economic growth to accomplish the service delivery objectives as defined in the Integrated Development Plan/ PMS Framework of the Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS: A relevant year tertiary qualification or equivalent (Degree/Diploma in HR Management/ Business Management Systems/Project Management)-NQF Level 6/7.Computer Literacy-Office Applications.

 

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years.

 

SUMMARY OF CORE FUNCTIONS: Coordinates the key performance areas and specific outcomes associated with the Performance Management Systems Section through planning, monitoring and evaluating of the Performance Management Systems (PMS), interpreting and aligning objectives towards the accomplishment of specific outcomes and reporting on the application, intervention and achievement of developmental initiatives in order to ensure the broader aims of Local Government in respect of service delivery are realized.

SALARY : R133 709.80 PER ANNUM (EXCLUDING BENEFITS)

WORK STATION : SEKHUKHUNE DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY

QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 or higher; Firefighter I course; Hazmat Awareness; First Aid Level 3; Code: EB Drivers Licence; Physically and Mentally fit; Medical Test NFPA 1582; and No criminal record.

 

EXPERIENCE: 1 year operational experience.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND UNDERSTANDING: Knowledge of firefighting Standard Operating Procedures and policies; and Ability to execute firefighting tasks under supervision. Knowledge of fire safety codes, standards and applicable bylaws; Skills in identifying fire safety risks.

 

SUMMARY OF CORE FUNCTIONS: Ability of focus on the customer and provide a high-quality service that is tailored to meet differing needs in the communities served. Presents an appropriate image to the public and other municipalities; Supports strategies that aim to build a municipality that reflects the community it serves. Ability to identify fire risks and prevention measures (relates to firefighting operational personnel).

 

 

ERRATUM

This serves to correct the salary of Payroll Clerk position that was advertised externally in the Sekhukhune Times Newspaper dated 16 April- 22 April 2026. The correct salary is R351 079.59 per annum (excluding benefits) and not R411 345.70 per annum as previously advertised. The closing date for Payroll Clerk position as advertised in the said Sekhukhune Times Newspaper dated 16 April -22 April 2026 is extended to 12 June 2026. In all other respects, the advert remains unchanged.
