JOB SUMMARY
To ensure scientific and relevant historical research pertaining to all the primary heritage elements of Freedom Park.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
·       Conduct research for the Garden of Remembrance at Freedom Park.
·       Conduct research on history, culture, indigenous knowledge systems and spirituality.
·       Research and compile on Names for Wall of Names.
·       Manage projects related to reconciliation, social cohesion, and nation building.
·       Publish in peer reviewed journals and other publications
·       Draft opinion pieces and publish in various publication platform
·       Draft and publish policy briefs
·       Record, analyze, evaluate and interpret information obtained from research
·       Formulate effective and efficient research processes
 
PREREQUISITES
  • Post-graduate degree with majors in Social Science with major in History, Heritage, Indigenous Knowledge or Political Science. Other relevant qualifications may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in research in the Human and Social Science areas.
  • Experience within the Heritage sector may offer competitive advantage.

JOB SUMMARY
Full responsibility for FP to develop and execute global brand strategy. Compile and analyse customer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities to further solidify Freedom Park as a leading position in the heritage space. Be responsible for translating the opportunities into fully-integrated marketing plans across Communication, Publicity, Digital, Social Media.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Strategic marketing management to ensure key business objectives such as brand equity, revenue growth, market share, cost reductions and profit maximisation are met.
  • Develop and implement brand strategy and plan to increase visibility and maximise profitability within the context of utilising internal and external analysis.
  • Ensure that brand positioning and the communication platform resonates with the identified target market to deliver aligned and impactful marketing campaigns, promotions, activations, digital and social executions as well as innovation.
  • Ensure ongoing business sustainability, profit maximization and growth using a combination of business, market, competitor and consumer insights (desktop research, in-trade observation, social media commentary, market research where necessary) to drive long term strategy as well as short-term tactics where risk has been identified.
  • Highlight opportunities and risk to various organisational stakeholders, creating business cases for new projects, action plans and implementation of tactics where necessary.
  • Cross functional team management with internal and external suppliers as well as communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and facilitate decision making.
  • Develop an annual PR and news release strategies
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • To develop a brand and growth strategy for Freedom Park
  • A sound understanding and experience of developing marketing strategies and plans, initiating and conducting marketing campaigns and producing marketing materials
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies for Freedom Park
  • Create internal communications initiatives that will increase Market place exposure to employees and foster a positive perception.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral and ensure that it is consistent with Freedom Park’s mandate, including newsletters, seller platform copy, banners etc
  • Collaborate with all internal partners and external partners where needed to create, lead and brief promotion/media content across all channels.
  • Engage with key cross-functional internal teams, stakeholders and third-party agencies to complete briefs and project manage campaigns from start to finish to ensure expectations are managed across the board and deadlines are met.
  • Plan monthly content themes for Freedom Park marketing campaigns, (including brand-led, promotions, newsletters, testimonial videos, customer service templates, PR, other initiatives etc)
  • Research and keep the team abreast on best practices
  • Daily management of brand campaign documents like marketing calendars, campaign & project control documents, battle plans, briefs and campaign decks.
  • Assist with brand reputation management and sentiment tracking.
 
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
  • A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Advertising. A post-graduate specialisation is preferable.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years working in the relevant field.
  • Extensive stakeholder relations management
  • Sourcing and raising funds.
  • The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of and experience in marketing mass market branded commodities.

JOB SUMMARY
To ensure that quality services and effective social investment strategies are delivered to Freedom Park clients in a manner that ensures client satisfaction. This is to be achieved through managing the implementation of client fund strategies, managing client relationships effectively and delivering high impact social investment value. The Client Relationship Manager is the primary interface between Freedom Park and its clients.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Developing and maintaining existing relationships with Freedom Park clients on portfolio allocated to Client Relationship Manager;
  • Developing strategies and protocols for various clients accessing the Park
  • Expanding allocated client base through marketing compliantly of new business in terms of quarterly targets;
  • Accountable, as part of FP team to assist in obtaining quarterly and annual business targets;
  • Management of team within the unit (Team Management)

  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Honours Degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Commerce or similar.
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

  • A minimum of 2 years developing and implementing operational programmes
  • Project Management experience is crucial - evidence of leading and managing advisory style projects.
