POST LEVEL 1 LECTURER (TEMPORARY)

Educational Requirements
  • A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
  • National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • TVET Educational Qualification.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • A minimum of zero to two (0-2) years' experience in TVET sector;
  • Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
  • Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
  • Driver's licence will be an added advantage.
 
Post Description
  • Engineering System L2;
  • Material Technology L3;
  • Engineering Technology L2;
  • Professional Engineering Practice L4.
 
Duties
  • Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
  • Assess and record the performance of students;
  • Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.

  • Collection of post/faxes and distribution to relevant staff as required;
  • Data capturing;
  • Assisting with registration of students;

  • Screening bursary applications as well as the supporting documentation;
  • Submit to financial Aid Clerk;
  • Follow-up with campuses on outstanding bursary documentation or information;
  • Data capturing of bursary information;
  • Responsible for filling of bursary documents;
  • Doing calculations as required;
  • Recording;
  • Organising and retrieving bursary information and documents (ITS);
  • Dealing with telephone calls, making and receiving, and other delegated duties.
