Requirements:
  • NCV level 4 in primary agriculture or Grade 12 certificate with Agriculture
  • Experience in working on the farm or with animals and plants
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work as a team
 
Key Performance Areas:
  • Feeding livestock.
  • Looking after the welfare of animals.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the facilities.
  • Taking care of crops.
  • Assisting students with practicals in Plant Production and Animal Production
  • Liaise with the Local Animal Technician on animal health
  • Recording and keeping production records for stock and sales
  • Reporting any anomalies to the supervisor
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
