Requirements:
- Minimum of an appropriate Degree/National Diploma or equivalent qualification plus a professional teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years relevant experience in teaching.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supervision/Management within the Post-School Education and Training Sector.
- Management experience and providing Leadership to staff.
- Sound knowledge and experience of Financial Management, Project Management, Facility Management and HR Development Strategies.
- Strong Interpersonal Communication, Motivation, Negotiation and Problem Solving Skills.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the TVET sector.
- Well-developed Organisational, Planning and Management Skills.
- Registered with SACE.
- Computer literacy certificate
- A valid driver licence
Key Performance Areas:
- Responsible for the smooth running of the Campus in general, as well as ensuring that all requests from the Central Office and the Department of Higher Education and Training are adhered to within the stipulated time frames.
- Lead and support designated staff to ensure that leaner entitlements are improved and achieved.
- Initiate new innovations that are congruent with the Strategic Plan of the College and the TVET College Sector.
- Ensure quality assurance of learning delivery.
- Implement and monitor adherence to Policies.
- Promote a culture of Teaching and Learning and ensure that all activities are in line with relevant Legislations, College Policies and the College Strategic Plan.
- Guide, supervise and offer professional advice to all staff members.
- Oversee and monitor staff capacity building activities in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager.
- Maintain staff and students discipline.
- Ensure an equitable workload distribution for staff members.
- Ensure proper utilisation, maintenance and security of resources, facilities and grounds.
- Oversee and monitor all examinations and assessment activities.
- Oversee and monitor all administrative and financial activities.
