DUTIES : Management, control and see to it that financial control services are fully functional in the Department, Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation sections are up and running and are performing efficiently and effectively. Clearance of PMG account and follow up/investigation for clearing other accounts and see to it that necessary journals are processed and authorised. Management of general payments section and ensure that payment of suppliers’/service providers is made within 30 days after receipt of an invoice in compliance with TR 8.2.3 and Sec 38(1)(f) of the PFMA.
