MANAGER: FINANCE

SALARY: R849 702.00 per annum, (All-inclusive remuneration package)

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a motivated and versatile professional for a middle management role within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing operational functions and supporting strategic initiatives. In addition to core responsibilities, the candidate must be flexible and willing to take on additional or ad-hoc duties, as required by Supervisors, Management, and Executives, to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organisation. 
 
PURPOSE: Responsible for Planning and Operations Management of the Financial Management, and accounting function as well as the compilation of financial reports. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: An appropriate bachelor’s degree qualification in Financial Management/Accounting or Financial Auditing or a relevant equivalent qualification at NQF level 7 with Accounting 3 as a passed subject. A Post Graduate qualification will serve as an added advantage. A minimum of at least 5 years experience in, accounting, loss control, MTEF budgeting, asset management, and financial auditing at assistant or middle management level. 
Knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations, and guidelines. Knowledge of Public Service Anti-Corruption Strategy and anticorruption and fraud prevention measures. An understanding of policies, procedures, and GRAP standards on financial reporting. Principles and practice of financial accounting. 
Advanced Computer skills, and people management skills. Trustworthiness and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Time and record management. Work plan and reporting. Good organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, in a team, and under pressure. 
 
DUTIES: Manage the financial administration of the Commission. Compile financial reports and statements on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis. Oversee the duties of officials under your supervision. Review payments and capture them on the bank for authorisation. Maintain and manage the payroll of the Commission. Oversee the asset management function and stock of the Commission. Establish control measures in the finance and SCM environment.

PURPOSE: To manage and effectively render the human resources and corporate services functions. 
 
ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a motivated and versatile professional for a middle management role within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing operational functions and supporting strategic initiatives. In addition to core responsibilities, the candidate must be flexible and willing to take on additional or ad-hoc duties, as required by Supervisors, Management, and Executives, to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organisation. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: A 3 (three) year degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Management or relevant equivalent qualification at NQF level 7. A minimum of 5 years experience in the Human Resources field at Assistant Director/middle management level. A good understanding of HR functions including recruitment, performance management, workplace skills development, conditions of service as well as occupational health and safety. The HR Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications/Office 365, Knowledge and practical application of LRA, BCEA, SMS Handbook, PSCBC resolutions, Public Service Act.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement HR Management and Development Strategy. Oversee the administration of conditions of service, remuneration and employee macro benefits, Manage and maintain the performance management system and facilitate workplace skills development programmes, Perform general HR administrative processes, promote good governance in HR practices, implement best-practice HR principles, processes and procedures. Manage Recruitment and retention, Facilitate Payroll processing and leave maintenance, Develop and Implement Human Resource Policies and Procedures, ensure statutory compliance, and facilitate disciplinary processes. Establish and manage HR risks and mitigation thereof. Manage HR audit processes. Maintain and manage HR systems automation and ensure effective functionality thereof. Ensure Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Programmes in the Commission. Manage the coordination of facilities. Manage the provisioning of effective and efficient Auxiliary Services within the Commission

MANAGER: INVESTIGATIONS & CONFLICT RESOLUTION

UNIT: Investigations and Conflict Resolution

CENTRE: Head Office: Braamfontein, Johannesburg 
 
PURPOSE: To strategically direct, manage and oversee the overall functioning of the Investigation and Conflict Resolution unit. 
 
ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a motivated and versatile professional for a middle management role within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing operational functions and supporting strategic initiatives. In addition to core responsibilities, the candidate must be flexible and willing to take on additional or ad-hoc duties, as required by Supervisors, Management, and Executives, to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organisation. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: A 3 (three) year appropriate Bachelor’s Degree in Law-LLB or any other relevant field. Post Graduate Degree is an added advantage. A minimum of 5 years in experience in the Legal field at middle management level. Strong knowledge and experience in dealing with cultural, religious and linguistic rights of communities will be an added advantage. Knowledge of interpretation, application, and limitation of the law. Computer skills, and people management skills. Trustworthiness and the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Manage the implementation of legislative review and policy influence. Manage budget and use human resources effectively and foster collaborative efforts and teamwork.
