Primary Function
The SM: W&D is primarily responsible for the efficient and effective management of the organisation's warehouse operations, as well as overseeing the proper disposal and recycling of materials. Ensure smooth inventory management, compliance with safety regulations, cost-effective disposal strategies.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the entire warehouse operation. This includes managing inventory, optimising storage space, ensuring efficient workflows and maintaining safety protocols. Setting performance goals, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.. ).Develop and grow effective working conditions and ensure sound communication relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Develop policies, procedures and standards regulating the key aspects for which the division is responsible for and ensure proper implementation and execution of those policies, procedures and standards. Implement and enforce safety procedures and policies within the warehouse. Ensure accurate inventory tracking, minimising stock discrepancies and implementing inventory management. Prepare monthly, quartely and annual reports.
Develop and implement environmentally responsible disposal and recycling strategies in compliance with regulations. Coordinate the proper disposal of obsolete, damaged, or surplus materials, ensuring legal and ethical compliance. Identify opportunities for recycling or reusing materials to minimize waste. Monitor the utilisation of the budget within the division, to ensure that expenditure is effectively managed and allocated efficiently Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and all security-related legislation
Engage the management team to align governance structures with short and long term planning and projections. Oversee all processes and ensure compliance with appropriate standards and regulations. Monitor and manage performance towards goals and organisational objectives, to ensure overall success. Identify developmental needs and implement development plans, including training of staff. Manage leave effectively.. Represent the department at various appropriate forums and confidently raise issues at the appropriate governance structures. Provide direction for overarching conformance to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Appointment Minimum Requirements:

Primary Function:
The position involves spearheading the complete lifecycle of contract management from development to execution, including the negotiation of favourable terms with vendors and partners. Collaborate with various departments to ensure contracts align with the company policies, legal requirements, and business goals and manage risk through regular compliance audits. Cultivating relationships with vendors and stakeholders, advising the business on contracts matters and managing detailed reporting and documentation. Additionally oversee the contract register’s maintenance, report non-conformance associated risks, and ensure the organization adherence to the city Power Contracts Management Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Take the lead in contract development by drafting detailed documents covering all crucial aspects of business relationships. Cooperate with procurement and other relevant departments to ensure that contracts comply with company policies, legal stipulations and business goals. Review and adjust contract language regularly to address specific risks and concerns and protect City Power’s interests. Act as a primary liaison during negotiations with suppliers, vendors, partners, working towards securing the most favourable terms for City Power. This includes factors like price, delivery schedule and quality. Leverage negotiation skills to resolve disagreements and reach mutually beneficial agreements. Manage the contract execution process, guaranteeing that all necessary parties sign agreements and are fully informed of their obligations. Systematically organise and secure contract documents for easy retrieval and reference. Oversee the lifecycle of contracts. This involves tracking the progress of deliverables, payments, contract renewals, amendments and compliance with terms. Take prompt action when contract terms are unmet initiating corrective actions, renegotiations, or legal procedures as needed. Establish and execute risk management strategies for contract management. This includes conducting regular audits to confirm compliance with contractual terms, proactively identifying potential risks such as non-compliance, early termination, and renewal dates and taking measures to mitigate these risks. Cultivate strong, positive relationships with vendor and suppliers. Maintain regular communication with them to address concerns, provide feedback and ensure ongoing alignment with contract terms. Conduct assessment to determine the effectiveness of all contracts in place in the organization and hold regular meetings with the contractors / service providers to discuss performance milestones and challenges. Timely escalate matters to the Executive as necessary. Provide advice to the business on contracts and establish clear administrative procedures in line with relevant legislative requirements and current standards. Ensure timely submission of performance reviews by end users/ contract owners and actively follow through on issues until satisfactorily resolved. Collate contract information for reporting, prepare reports to the business on the statuses of all contracts and ensure timely submission of all required reports. Primary Function
The Senior Manager: GIS is responsible for managing and leveraging GIS resources and governance activities of City Power and is responsible in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of City Power’s geospatial and non-spatial data contained in various systems and documents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction for an enabling environment in order to provide City Power with best practice in the department. Drive the department to function as a collaborative, integrated organisation, which functions as one within the confines of the strategic mandate of City Power. Define a strategic framework for the operating model of the department which includes the alignment of operations, organisational structure, people, processes and technology to the overall City Power business strategy. Provide the strategic oversight and guidance for integrating organisational performance. Direct the leverage of scale and reinforce cross cutting synergies at a central level across the department. Lead and co-ordinate the GIS team. Ensure that the appropriate delegation of authority schedules are in place. Maintain the GIS system and data integrity, security and confidentiality. Acquire and handle data from various sources to populate geographical databases sources include GPS systems and raw data from satellites. Align data with company standards and procedures and ensure quality and integrity of the data in line with policies. Contribute to the design of procedures that will direct the capture and verification of data. Determine the performance measurement/ management framework, the key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage the resources of the department, effectiveness and leading cost control activities to maximise efficiency. Drive the safety of people and minimise injury and the loss of productivity through safety incidents across the department.
