Appointment Minimum Requirements:
Higher Certificate in Business/Office Management
3 years’ relevant experience
Primary Function:
The primary objective of this position is to provide secretarial support to the Office of the CFO and ensure efficient running of the office.
Key responsibilities
Ensure effective management of the CFO diary. Get the CFO’s schedule from the manager in the Office of the CFO. Schedule meetings, workshops and social functions on behalf of the CFO with the direct reports; committees and all internal and external stakeholders and book venues accordingly, Provide telephone answering, routing and calls filtering. Keeping and maintaining an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the CFO. Compile and prepare presentations for all meeting. Record and distribute minutes of each meeting. Ensure venues for the meetings, workshops and social functions are booked. Monitor and make follow- ups on meetings and action items including workshops should there be any. Create reservations, requisitions and purchase orders on the SAP system. Follow up on invoice payment related to the Office of the CFO and contracts. Monitor and ensure adequate stationary stock levels are maintained. Ensure confidentiality is always adhered to. Provide general support to the CFO guests. Ensure a user- friendly proactive service is projected.

Primary Function
Manage Company financial modelling, Budget management and expenditure control and management of the company financial performance reporting.
Key responsibilities
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance. Ensure the completion of CoJ budget templates for the Adjustment budget and subsequent years’ budget. Provide financial and business related analysis and research for financial and expense performance, cash flow forecasting, and working capital. Monthly, prepare company forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional team members and provide explanations for variances from prior expectations. Manage the updating of the company’s forecasting model monthly with information from the accounting systems and updating expense and revenue forecasts based on actual business events and timelines. Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives. Delegate the implementation of financial, operating and capital budget review templates, meetings and monitor. Design effective budgeting policies and procedures٫ and manage their implementation. Ensure that the expenses of the accounts managed do not exceed the allocated budget. Analyse company's financial information (such as cash management ٫expenditures ٫and revenues) making sure that company's financial operations do not exceed budget limits. Review budget suggestions and requests. Review completed budgets for compliance with legal regulations. Design and present budget- models ٫including department-level and business-level ones. Develop suggestions on spending to optimize the resulting budget. Compare company's estimated financial results with the actual ones at the end of each reporting period and analyze the variances. Provide monthly financial reporting and variance analysis. Ensure Groups/ departments meet their budget submission deadlines. Prepare and present yearly budget results to company's Top Management, Executives and Senior Managers. Monitor and report on business performance in order to meet City Power’s budgeting and forecasting goals. Ensure integrity of reported amounts in the preparation of the listed financial statements. Manages performance engagement/project risk to ensure that the company’s risk policy is aligned at all times. Consistently review and analyse standard and quality of team deliverables and implements changes as necessary.

Primary Function
The primary objective of this position Provide support in the Finance Group to achieve its goals and objectives aligned with its operational, strategic and/or business plans. Support to Finance Group to ensure that the Group meets its operational and strategic responsibilities. Conduct training and support to the departments within Finance to ensure adherence to the City Power policies and procedures. Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure that all technical solutions are sound and aligned to the legislation and best industry practice.
Key responsibilities
The Senior Manager Finance Executive Support is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the department and should provide direction for an enabling environment in order to provide City Power and Finance with the best practices. oversee the management and provision of functional responsibility of the department by establishing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholder to improve the efficiency of a business. Ensure the effective monitoring and support of Supply Chain Performance (SCM) processes. Influence operational excellence, which includes review of the documents, reports and presentations. Initiate strategies to develop and grow effective relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, customers and suppliers. Manage the Group to achieve the desired business performance and should through managing the resources of the department/ division, and leading cost control activities to maximise efficiency
