SHORT TERM CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT - (STC) 
 
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Corporate and Shared Services Department has the following short - term contract opportunity for a period NOT exceeding six (6) months. 
 
 
The details are as follows: 
 
1. Department: Group Corporate and Shared Services 
Branch: Group Human Capital Management 
Designation: Officer: Transactions 
Salary Range: R22 215.52 pm (basic salary excluding benefits) 
Location: 158 Civic Boulevard, Metropolitan Centre, Braamfontein 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
• Grade 12 or equivalent. (NQF level 4); 
• A National Diploma or Advance Certificate in Human Resources to NQF level 6; OR Five (5) years HR and SAP (HCM) related experience. 
• Completed training on the SAP HCM system to view, capture and unlock transactions as and where required is an advantage; 
• Exposure to the SAP HCM will be a recommendation; 
• Knowledge of Public Service environment, HR processes, Conditions of Service, Administration procedures; and 
• Financial management, Human Resources, Change management, Communication, Interpersonal and Conflict resolution skills. 
 
 
Primary Function Provide administrative support in relation to processing and updating of information related to employee remuneration and time management on the SAP HCM system. 
 
Key Performance Areas: Provide administrative support in relation to processing and updating of information related to employee remuneration and time management on the SAP HCM system. Record, analyse and retrieve data concerned with Human Resource functionality. Attends to queries / complaints associated with Human Resource payroll activities. Performs activities associated with departmental support within Transactional back office.
