ADVERTISEMENT FOR GENERAL WORKERS: WASTE MANAGEMENT (5 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT) 
 
The Bushbuckridge Local Municipality which is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer seeks to appoint suitably qualified persons for the following positions:
 
POST: GENERAL WORKERS: WASTE MANAGEMENT X 60 
DIRECTORATE: EDPE
UNIT: WASTE MANAGEMENT 
REMUNERATION: R120 PER DAY WORKED
DURATION: 5 MONTHS CONTRACT (JANUARY TO MAY 2021)
CENTRE: MKHUHLU, THULAMAHASHE, HLUVUKANI AND ACORNHOEK REGIONS.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS: A Grade 12 NSC certificate OR equivalent Able to read and write 1 year experience in any work related to cleaning Age 18 to 35 years 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Street cleaning 
Litter picking on the streets and around skip container bins 
Assist the waste transportation and disposal teams 
Responsible for grass cutting 
Participate in all waste management activities. 
Tree planting, removal of alien species and vegetation 
Weeding and trimming of indigenous plants 
 
Any other duty given by the superior officials.
