Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance to the Team Leader: Office of the CFO.




​RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in facilitating on monitoring requests on Finance service desk
  • Assist with requests for information for all audits
  • Assist with the timeous submission of reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with the daily ICT health checks
  • Assist in collating committee meeting information
  • Ensuring all registers are kept up to date
  • Creation of purchase requisitions
  • Attend to queries from internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and flag tasks due using a Project Management tool
  • Completion of reconciliations as needed
  • Additional adhoc ICT, Finance and administrative tasks
  • Arranging meetings and keeping minutes of meetings
  • Assist the finance transactions and reporting teams as needed
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least a Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Positive approach and a can-do mindset
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (E-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Sound administrative, financial and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal; writing; and presentation skills.
  • Ability to speak two of the Western Cape official languages.
  • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn & travel.
  • Possession of a valid code 8 driver’s license
 
RECOMMEDATIONS
  • Accountancy or maths at matric level
  • Experience External and Internal Audit/ Finance/ ICT background
  • At least one years’ experience in the field of External/Internal Audit
