POST HR PRACTITIONER
DIRECTORATE : CORPORATE SERVICES
REMUNERATION : R448 836.05
CENTRE HEAD OFFICE
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support to the HR Manager and all stakeholders on the Operation.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Implement the HR business strategy by devising operating systems, procedures, processes and assurances.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy and integrity of HR information.
• Ensure application and compliance to Company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Ensure data integrity on all HR information systems and ensure that HR administration is applied effectively.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process - including labour forecasting and control processes.
• Manage HR benefit administration ensuring effective and efficient communication to all employees.
• Ensure the compensation management strategy is applied and adhered to.
• Ensure that subordinates have the necessary skills to fulfil their duties.
• Ensure documentation and input complies with financial and audit standards.
• Advise Line Management on relevant legislation, company policies and the impact it bears on conditions of employment.
 
REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• 4 years relevant experience at HR environment and supervisory level.
• Valid driver's license.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within group, strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
• Registration with SABPP, IMPSA and knowledge of Sage 300 system will be an added advantage.

 
 
 
 
 
POST: LIBRARIAN X 2
DIRECTORATE : COMMUNITY SERVICES
REMUNERATION : R448 836.05
CENTRE: ACORNHOEK LIBRARY AND MP STREAM LIBRARY
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all library and information services
• Compilation of monthly and quarterly reports
• Supervision of staff library
• To do marketing of library
• Contribute to budget plans and financial management
• Provide professional library guidance to schools and other educational organization
 
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Information Science/Studies.
• 4 years' experience in Public Library.
• Computer Skills.
• Knowledge of Dewey decimal classification and cataloguing
• Knowledge of Sabinet Online System will be an added advantage
 

 
 
POST : BUILDING INSPECTORS X 2
DIRECTORATE : CORPORATE SERVICES
REMUNERATION : R448 836.05
CENTRE : HEAD OFFICE
 
Responsibilities
• Review, scrutinize and approve building plans that meet building codes, local ordinances and zoning regulations.
• Ensure that buildings are erected according to the approved building plans, and compliance to
• National Building Regulation and Building Standards Act 103 of 1977 (as amended).
• Apply and see to the enforcement of all relevant Acts, including Occupational Health & Safety Act, National Environmental Management Act and Fire Regulations during implementation.
• Monitor, evaluate and ensuring quality assurance on all Human Settlements implemented housing projects on sites.
• Prepare Technical Reports and attend monthly site meetings with all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitoring and ensuring that rightfully and approved housing beneficiaries are benefiting a quality assurance of an adequate and sustainable human shelter.
• Attend, analyses and sort to all general building related complaints and enquiries.
• Issue violation notices and stop-work orders to building non-compliance until building is
• Compliant, keep daily logs including photographs taken during construction.
• Conduct regular site inspection on all Municipal Buildings and prepare Bills of Quantities for maintenance purposes.
• Performs other related work as required by the Supervisor and Manager.
 
Requirements
• Grade 12
• Degree or equivalent in Construction Management & Quantity Surveying, Architectural Technology.
• 4 years working experience
• Civil Engineering, Town Planning or similar and the understanding of Project Management with 4 years.
• Related experience in the field of Built Environment (Construction Industry).
• Valid Driver's License Code 8 or 10.
• Computerized and knowledge reporting, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure when necessary to meet deadlines and work on site on different weather conditions.
• Demonstrate experience and ability to relate to a cultural diverse client and staff.
