JOB PURPOSE
To provide end-to-end IT Support and manage ICT Service desk to internal users (Including Board Members) and external stakeholder, investigate and resolve ICT support and network incidents and problems and carry out routine configurations and installations of IT solutions with adherence to ITIL and COBIT standards.
ROLE CONTEXT
Provide IT technical support in terms of hardware, software, systems and administration.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA - FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS / ACTIONS
End User Support
• End user support and optimisation of desktop environment
• Reactive on-site assistance to internal clients
• Daily administration for client PCs and network printers
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows) and across a range of software applications
• Support computer devices such as tablets, computer peripherals and other devices that connect to the network
• Email client support
• First Line support to all users-resolve issues reported to the end-users
• IMAC (Installation, Moves, Additions, and Changes) of Hardware & Software
• WIFI networks and Access points
• System user access management and reviews.
Network
• Participate in the installation, configuration, maintenance and ongoing management of network, security, hosting and voice equipment as required.
• Recommend, document and plan core infrastructure maintenance and system upgrades, as required.
Server Support
• Network Troubleshooting
• MS Exchange Online
• Provides ITIL Service disciplines, covering Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Responsible for day-to-day system administration, including management of internal network, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD and system backups.
• Provide cyber security compliance.
Service Management
• Escalations and follow-up with service providers
• Attending SLA meetings
• Assist in conducting and documenting systems changes.
Governance & Compliance
• Maintain ICT registers
• Ensure compliance with ICT policies and procedures
• Assist with Audit information gathering
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS
• Internal departments: All departments within AgriSETA
• External Service Providers
MININUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• NQF level 6 in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
• COBIT, N+; A+; ITIL Certificate; Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST); will be an added advantage
• 3 years of experience as an IT Technician/Desktop Support

• Lan configuration and troubleshooting
