HAIRDRESSER (FACILITATOR)

NATURE OF POST: 12 Months Contract 

REF: KHC2026/06/MSO

SALARY: R281 319 Plus 37% in Lieu of benefits 

CENTRE: Msobomvu Campus 

 

Requirements: Grade 12/NCV Level 4 or Equivalent plus a three-year qualification in Hairdressing. Trade test 1: Afro Ladies Hair, Trade test 2: Caucasian Ladies Hair, Trade test 3: Gents Hair. Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator with 1 year Industry experience. Must have computer literate. Must have good presentation skills. Registered with SACE will be an added advantage. 

 

Duties: Engage in learning/facilitating as per workload. Assess and record performance of students. Manage the learning program. Invigilate internal and external examinations. Mark and record all students’ activities and assessments. Monitor all class activities. Organize, prepare and conduct workplace or stimulated experiential learning for students. Complete the lecturer’s POA and ensure all students have POEs. Assist with student registration. Use technology in the delivery of teaching and learning. Should also be able to teach the following subjects: Hair Care Theory, Hair Care Practical and Fundamentals NQF Level 2- 4, Liaise with product houses, Co-ordinate Hair Shows and competition.
