Purpose of the job
To provide Functional Application Support Services relating to specific application systems according to service elements as specified in the applicable service level agreements.

Qualifications and Experience

Technical Competencies Description
Application Development: Knowledge of application development principles, software design standards, system architecture, and solution design methodologies. Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions and enhancements within an Oracle ERP environment. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, system integration, and deployment processes.
Implementation Management: Ability to plan, coordinate, and support the implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and releases. Experience in managing change requests, ensuring smooth deployment of ERP solutions, and minimising disruption to business operations while maintaining service continuity.
Information Management: Understanding of information governance, data management principles, and data quality standards. Ability to support the effective use of enterprise information to enable sound decision-making, business processes, reporting, and compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
Business Writing: Strong ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional business reports, functional specifications, requirements documents, user guides, training material, and stakeholder communications.
Customer Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, clients, vendors, and technical teams. Skilled in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the effective delivery of Functional Application Support services.
Application Maintenance and Support: Extensive experience in providing Functional Application Support services within an Oracle ERP environment, including incident management, problem resolution, root cause analysis, system maintenance, testing, user support, and implementation of system enhancements. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively while working collaboratively with developers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and business users to maintain optimal system performance and service delivery. ERP Functional Knowledge Sound understanding of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and associated business processes, including Finance, SCM/Procurement, HR/HCM, Payroll, OTL/Projects and Asset Management. Experience in business process analysis, requirements management, system configuration, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives within an ERP support environment.

Purpose of the job
To provide advisory and Functional Application Support services for Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and related enterprise applications in accordance with agreed service level agreements, ensuring business continuity, optimal system performance and effective service delivery to clients.

Purpose of the job

Key Responsibility Area
• INITIATION PROJECT - Effectively applies project management principles to Initiate and Plan the project, including the identification and planning of procurement-related requirements, dependencies, risks and timelines.
• Manage product delivery to ensure successful delivery of the project, with particular focus on coordinating and enabling the supply chain-related activities and dependencies that impact project delivery.

Purpose of the job
To provide PMO/project/programme coordination and support services throughout the programme/project/service life cycle, with particular focus on supporting the supply chain-related aspects and dependencies of programme and project delivery.
Key Responsibility Areas
· Coordinate project activities of planning, monitoring and control as delegated by the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of the project, including coordination and tracking of supply chain-related activities, requirements, dependencies and timelines.
· Provide Project coordination and support in order to ensure smooth running of the project, including maintaining relevant transaction information, action logs, documentation and delivery trackers.
· Coordinate Project governance activities, including meeting arrangements, preparation of presentations, risk management, issue management, quality control, including SCM-related risks, issues, actions and dependencies affecting project delivery.
· Configuration support.
· Provide coordination support to ensure the execution of the project against the prescribed SITA project management methodology, including follow-up and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders on procurement-linked project activities and milestones.
· Assist the senior project manager to monitor and control the project’s financial expenditure and revenue to ensure delivery of the project expenditure and revenue to ensure delivery of the project within budget.
· Provide coordination and administrative support for the monitoring of supply chain-related project activities and transactions, including maintaining status information, tracking milestones and outstanding actions, following up with relevant stakeholders, and escalating delays or constraints to the Project Manager.
· Registration of projects and closing them on ERP as super user.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualification 1 - 2-year National Higher Certificate in Business Management/ Project management / Information Technology/ Computer Science and/or equivalent (NQF Level 5). A qualification or formal training in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Contract Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
Certification: Prince 2 Foundation and/or CAPM Certification and/or Agile PM Foundation will be advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years working experience in a project/programme management environment, including 2 years as programme/project administration and support. Experience supporting projects involving Supply Chain Management, procurement, contracting, vendor management or related dependencies would be advantageous.
